any1 who says Tysons power was overrated is a joke, Tyson had Awesome power even as a teenager, Tyson was knockin guys out left right and center in the amatuers when he was really young, TYSON was a born puncher

You knock Tyson for just about everything. Except the power.

But i don't know about any other opponents who said they met harder punchers.
larry holmes also said on his comeback in nineties that mike tyson was one fighter he would not fight .

                    Screw Holmes.

The only guy who was right was Razor Ruddock. Lewis's right hand was harder than Tyson's. You could see it when Ruddock collapsed. Morisson may have had more power, but Ruddock was shot when he KO'd him. Shavers had a harder right hand. Few others but you get the idea.

                    Tyson's power was not overrated.

One-punch wise, there are many heavy's that hit harder than Tyson.Shavers or Foreman would be an example. But Tyson was very quick and skillful, and was able to put up awesome combos. IMO his quickness early in his career was his best asset.
