Like Holmes? Oh..well i have never seen him ROLL AROUND THE CANVAS, BOUNCE ON THE ROPES, SHAKE HIS HEAD ETC. He said Shavers hit him harder but hey, all you have to do is look at the KO.

But i don't know about any other opponents who said they met harder punchers.

larry holmes also said on his comeback in nineties that mike tyson was one fighter he would not fight .

The only guy who was right was Razor Ruddock. Lewis's right hand was harder than Tyson's. You could see it when Ruddock collapsed. Morisson may have had more power, but Ruddock was shot when he KO'd him. Shavers had a harder right hand. Few others but you get the idea.

Tyson's power was not overrated.

One-punch wise, there are many heavy's that hit harder than Tyson.Shavers or Foreman would be an example. But Tyson was very quick and skillful, and was able to put up awesome combos. IMO his quickness early in his career was his best asset.
