No, Greg page didn't have hands as fast as Tyson's. Why don't you use the obvious example of Michael Dokes as a guy who had speed but not much power? He is the one guy from around that time who actually had Tyson's speed (actually I think Dokes was quicker than Tyson) but wasn't much of a puncher and you neglected to name him, instead offering guys like Holyfield and Greg Page who weren't clearly as quick as Tyson.

Tysons speed, timing and technique (power) are/were NOT overrated IMO.

Why do you continually make threads just to justify being a Tyson fan? Why do you care what everyone else thinks THAT much that you make a thread asking if people think Tyson is overrated (so you can pounce on them like a rabid squirrel squeaking and shrieking about how wrong they are) almost every other day? You ask a question, as if you seriously care what anyone has to say, and then you just keep throwing the same arguments at them when they dare disagree with you.

This thread isn't so much a discussion as it is you drilling people with questions. You remind me of a cartoon character, a little duck from the 90's cartoon Tiny Toons who would respond to something another character said with "Why?" and continuing doing so every time they attempted to further explain a point. You are the "why" kid who asks frustrating questions tirelessly until the other person in the debate just gives up.

the threads this guy starts on tyson's power, linked below, are funny. his 'tyson footwork' threads are even funnier. notice how he never responds when this is brought up how he starts the same thread a thousand times.

Ask Tyson if his power was overrated and you may never wake up to find out.
