Maybe when they were in the ams they were a similar size, but now the fight doesn't make much sense.

Andrade is what Mayweather would be if he put combinations together. Mayweather has that pop that viciously snaps back the heads of his opponents but because he don't put combinations together, he don't get the KOs.

Andrade has pop and has blistering combinations, he will definitely stop Thurman, and a lot of these 154lbers.

Thurman has absolutely no chance, not even a puncher's chance coz I don't see him landing above 26 percent of his shots on Andrade.
Not to take anything away from Andrade but Nelson is pretty chinny. He has been dropped several times. I mean N'dam had never been stopped but I'm pretty sure everyone on this board would consider him chinny.

As for Andrade Vs Thurman. I really believe Thurman is too small and doesn't have a style that would do him any good moving up. And although Thurman is one of my favorite fighters he has appeared fragile in his last few fights.

Andrade catches you with weird angles that sneak up on you, that is generally how he hurts people. Like you said, hes got pop, you definitely don't want him teeing off on you, but hes not a huge puncher by any stretch.

Nelson has been down and nearly out multiple times against non-punchers, he's extremely chinny.

Andrade isn't a puncher and won't stop any guys at world level, he's a tremendous talent though and probably the best at 154.

Thurman is good at Welterweight, I think Spence and Brook are the only ones who can beat him.

But 154 and Andrade in particular are an entirely different story. I don't even give Mayweather a more than 50/50 chance to beat Andrade, and he's my favorite fighter of all time and the best of his generation.

The height (5'11"), the reach (74 inches), and the skill, illusiveness, speed, timing, combo speed, size, and power. No welterweight in their right mind should get in the ring with this guy.

And he does have power make no mistake. You have to understand that there are different kinds of power in boxing. Just coz a guy doesn't get one punch KO's all the time don't mean he don't got power.

Even Wilder, Kovalev, and GGG sometimes gotta wear you out before getting the KO.

I think they are still similar size in terms of fight night weights but it's the height, reach, speed, skill, and power that will undo Thurman, not to mention the southpaw style.
