Then you add on the top 10 fighters who blatantly ducked him like N'Dam, Quillin, Sturm, etc., and accusing Golovkin of not fighting top 10 fighters is pretty ****ing absurd. was a mandatory for the "regular" WBA title while golovkinw as trying to get sturm, the "super champ." they couldn't get strum, so the WBA wanted to get a purse bid for golovkin - ndam. ndam vacated when it was mandated that he had to fight golovkin.

Hey, I agree that Rubio is somewhat suspect as a top 10, but I did recall him being ranked as such. Just checked and yup, transnational rankings had him at 9 at the time of the GGG fight. I believe ESPN had him in the top 10 as well at the time.

I think he was still working off his Lemieux win at that point.

everybody you've mentioned aside from proksa is a more accomplished middleweight than ndam, whose best win was against stevens when he was outside of the top 10. heck, proksa at least had sylvestre, who had just had a close fight with gealr and who was in the top 10 when proksa beat him.


stevens isn't close to golovkin's best win, and it's ndam's best. ndam also lost to another guy golovkin knocked out named david lemieux.
