  • Comments Thread For: Ricky Burns Eager For Revenge Fights With Crawford, Zlaticanin

WBA world super lightweight champion Ricky Burns is eager to get some payback against Terence Crawford and Dejan Zlaticanin. Two years ago when he was still competing at 135-pounds, Burns lost back to back fights to Crawford (28-0, 20KOs) and to Zlaticanin (22-0, 15KOs) - both by twelve round decision.

Burns will fight anyone. He's a ****ing warrior. Fights anyone and fought 10 rounds with a broken jaw. Balls of steel. History maker - 3 weight world champion. First ever from Scotland and only 3rd ever in UK history. At 140, he can make a couple title defenses and make good money. The Broner fight could be a good one. The unification with the IBF champ Troyanovsky is there. Crawford would be plain crazy. At 135, if Crolla beats Linares that would be a great fight. The Zlaticanin bout was a split decision and a close one. A rematch for the WBC belt would be good. The Figueroa rematch would also be good. Burns beat his ass. Burns is a great fighter.

Poor Ricky Burned... he beats 3 nobodys and now he expects the world! Why not fight Beltran or Gonzalez again?

Burns would get knocked out in that fight, no way Hearn makes it.

He can fight Crawford 10 times and he'd lose all 10 badly. He should be happy with the recent paper belt he got handed to him by his promoter for beating the Italian cupcake, but good on him if he's willing to fight a legit opponent next time

Nobody knocks Burns out. Dude went 10 rounds with a broken jaw. If Crawford couldn't do it, nobody can.

Crawford is even better now than he was when they first fought, which was a close fight in all honesty but a clear victory for TC. Burns is older now, much slower too. TC would knock him out cold.

Having said that, if Burns comes in like he did in his last fight, he'd beat Zlaticanin.

Crawford would beat Burns worse than the first fight. Crawford has improved drastically.
