I am amazed at the complete lack of common sense from some posters. Fortunately the powers that be are not as sop****ric.
In any case, next week will be interesting as Ryabinski is promising that they will be taking actions and releasing their own findings on this matter.
I would not be surprised if they counter sue.
The complete ******ity here is that team Wilder sues BEFORE the regulatory body comes to ANY decisions.
From World of Boxing.... this is an easy dismissall.
Wilder did not show up to a match and withdrew BEFORE WBC took any action.
and before the lemmings come out and say... "Povetkin took PEDs"....
PROVE IT.
May 17th he was CLEAN as per VADA tests.
The only tests that showed anything were trace amounts, 70 times LOWER than what is ALLOWED by WADA.
If you want the money... Lace them up big boy.Comment

His three tests before testing dirty were also clean.Povetkin's last test was clean
the trace detected previously was very very tiny, probably still in his body from last year - and too small to have any effect and well below the legal limit of WADA
and i don't don't trust VADA anyway, remember Hayman can pay them off like he does the WBC to give a false positive
Wilder was afraid to fight Povetkin and was wanting an excuse to pull out
now he's back to his usual BUMS SQUAD
Then he took the banned substance, failed to flush it all and got caught.
And how do we know his latest test is clean? Ryabinsky says so? Has he produced the test? Do we know it was tested by VADA and not some Russian lab?
You are gullible, either by choice or by sheer willpower to avoid the very obvious conclusion that a guy who passes three tests and then fails one has been CAUGHT.Comment

Stop spreading false information. He never tested positive for anything. His meldonium levels were way below the legal limit, even the strict post march limit. Of course he's still the mandatory.
Internet rumors don't decide this stuff. Only place he was "dirty and suspended" etc was twitter. Everywhere else reported it as a minor testing hiccup.
The mere presence of meldonium in a test, regardless of the amount, constitutes a WADA violation.Comment

You should try to keep up ... Ryabinsky was threatening to sue before Wilder actually did. In fact, you yourself say he'll probably be "taking actions" -- suing -- next week, and there's no reason to believe the WBC will have ruled by then.I am amazed at the complete lack of common sense from some posters. Fortunately the powers that be are not as sop****ric.

Go check Twitter -- Ryabinski via the World of Boxing (his promotion) Twitter account, (which names Ryabinskii in the tweet) on May 15 at 10:54:30 (time probably local to my account) that the fight is postponed.
Wilder did not leave by this time, in fact left England a couple days later.
Oh, and the WBC's OFFICIAL TWITTER ACCOUNT says it "CONFIRMS" -- not announces, confirms -- on May 15 at 11:17:06 that the fight is postponed.
So it was Ryabinski who called the fight off. It was more than 20 minutes later that the WBC "confirmed" that he had done so.
He called off the fight. He'll lose the lawsuit.Comment

yes.. because he's not using
no... a tiny trace showed up
check the boxingscene news article about it...
it was VADA
no... if he was using it to improve his blood flow, more than a microgram would have shown up for sure, not just 7/100 of a microgram
a microgram is just a millionth of a gramComment

Come on man, they set him up for the easy cash grab. Passed 3 tests then failed the 4th based on an amount so small, it isn't indicative of residuals left over from usage, it's a complete outlier. That's why they haven't suspended him, made a determination, nor taken away his mandatory status. They are not investigating usage, but rather corruption and tampering.Comment

EXACTLY!!! He ***ED up on the timing. Probably was only off by a few hours or a day at most... They should be more pissed at their strength and conditioning coach more than anything. His three tests before testing dirty were also clean.
