the most dominant amateur of all time is nowhere near great?
lomachenko is the goods. that kid can f#cking fight. great skills, speed, and power. chin looks solid, too. gotta figure that he's sturdy if he's gone 350 + fights without getting stopped.
lomachenko is a special fighter. he gets better every time he fights. nobody at 130 or below is going to beat him.

leaping left hooks, lead rights....lead uppercuts....5-6 punch combos....no pitty pat like loma...full leverage and torque while maintaining speed

Some guy they like has KO over a used-up pug and they go crazy as hell.
Arum has his trap set for another string of suckers.
Floyd at 130 was fighting guys far better than the ones Loma is fighting.

Loma should look special against the limited comp he's facing.

I think Lomachenko pressures well enough to do well against Floyd. Not saying he beats him, but you better believe it would be a competitive fight.
115-113 / 116-112 Floyd.

his amateur record isn't special? it's probably the best ever.
the kid has unreal talent. sold resume for a 25 year old fighter. unreal resume for a guy with 10 fights. salido beat him in a close fight after coming in several lbs overweight. it was lomachenko's second fight, as a pro, FFS. how is he not special?
nobody is saying his pro accomplishments are "special" in the context of the career of floyd mayweather, one of the very best boxers ever. he's got special talent, and he was a special amateur. maybe the best ever.
you've got to be blind if you don't think this kid is special.

Castillo was Floyd's FIRST fight at 135.
Castillo is better than anybody on Loma's resume.
