The guy is so full of it, he's worse than a prime greedy Arum.
Because of his gamble, Nelo is "supposed" to pay 8 millions dollars right now, will probably end up paying half of this amount.
He protected his company, not his fighter, pretty much obvious.
Who cares if GGG loses except himself, shi happens.
You guys are the salty mfos bringing GGG in every threads.Comment

Well, that's not Oscar's job. That's the job of Canelo's manager. That's the point of the whole judgement. Golden Boy was exonerated. Canelo was held responsible.Comment

Wouldn't be surprise if Nelo goes to another promoter if he really has to pay 8 miilions.
GBP ain't sht without Nelo right now.Comment

He's right. Oscar made a post yesterday celebrating that golden boy was exonerated but failed to mention that Canelo has to now pay 8.5 mil. And for all you who don't think that will hurt Canelos pockets, 8. 5 mil was exactly his guaranteed purses for the cotto and khan fights combined. He basically fought them for free thanks to this judgements.Comment

This leach Zabala is still crowing? Dude just STFU, you got your 8.5mill which by the way I doubt you will see.
Zabala is just a leach, if he had the pull and smarts and the way and means to properly promote fighters he would have never lost Canelo in the first place. Canelo was going nowhere under your banner. Now that GB was able to work the magic with him you are trying to weasel your way into some money.
Next time you sue someone, make sure the lawsuit is legit and honorable, then maybe you will get all the money you are asking for. F'ing dude sued GB and Canelo for 100+mill and plus the right to have Canelo back under their banner to finish out is bogus contract but instead he got 8.5mill which he will probably never see and didn't get canelo back, yet he his claiming this big victory.
This lawsuit has always been about extorting money and nothing more because if it did have some true merit behind it, then he would have gotten that 100+mill he was asking for and Canelo would have been force to go back to them to finish out his contract. Zabala is a bum/leach promoter.Comment

Was up if Nelo get mad because Oscar wanted to bring it to the court in order to avoid paying 250 K and that's Nelo finally ending up paying millions??

Be funny if he left GB and fought GGG. The fight will make over $100 million...He doesn't need A promotor at this point he just needs to fight big fights on PPV.Comment

If he was smart he would go the way of Cotto and Mayweather. Cotto made over $30 million fighting him and he made only $8.5 million fighting BOTH Khan and Cotto. Don't know what his totals were after PPV and stuff but he could of made a HELL of a lot more without GB.

But like you said, if he was smart...
Nelo and his entourage seem to be dumb, all smilling and hidding behind uncle Oscar who is making more money than them with that Canelo team brand.Comment

Thats all if you believe he is talking the truth, hes a promoter after all so who knows.
That would have been a smart move if for 250k the whole thing got settled years ago with both DLH and canelo free. I imagine theyve spent more on lawyers by now. Sure canelo is going to appeal to reduce what he pays Zabala but even if it gets reduced to nothing, hes still paying his lawyers for the appeal case.Comment
