I don't think much of him. Groves beat him both as an amateur and as a pro and he's fortunate that 168 is a ghost town right now. He opens every interview with humility, then switches to his lying, entitled self.
I've tried to like the guy but he's very unlikable and isn't particularly strong in the ring, with his frequent lapses and all.

I agree he lost a close one his last fight although he officially won. That's one reason I rank him about 5th. Maybe other 168 pound fighters can also beat him.

          3. Does he stand a chance in the loaded 175 division(Kovalev, Ward, the pimp, Beterbiev)?

          4. Is he elite, A-, B+, B-, C, or bum?
          1. 1 or 2, but that's not saying much, 168 is a weak division maybe the weakest.
          2. Yup
          3. I think so yeah.
          4. He stands no chance at 175.

Top at 168, followed by Jack and Groves.

Yeah, he beats Dirrell any day, any time, any where.

he beats Jack but makes it harder for himself because of his own stamina issues.

DeGale has a good chin so I reckon he woud be competitive against all those guys but taking rounds 5-8/9 lightly and laying on the ropes gets him in trouble. Kovalev and Bet probs take him out late. Ward squeezes a decision. Stevenson probably clatters him too.

DeGale is B- but with the potential of being A.

This is pretty much how I feel. I want to like him and I want to see what people see in him but I can't. I'm not even sure he won his last fight...

175 is out of the question and he'll get highlight reeled by multiple guys. The top 4 or 5 at 175 seem so out of his league honestly.

Hell.. If his last fight and his other "bad" nights are any indication he might even get tooled by GGG in horrendous fashion. He's not bad don't get me wrong... But there's just not a whole ton of talent left at 68 and it's in a transitional period. He's one of the better fighters there but that's not saying he's the best. I'm honestly not a huge Badou fan either but he seems better to me. Styles make fights though and Degale does have enviable speed and athleticism..but not the stamina/hardyness to give a full 12 rounds of it. Nothing special in my opinion but I'm losing heart for him so I could be being harsh and hopefully he proves me wrong.

He is top draw, he's better than Jack. We'll all see.

Yea, Degale is a big reason I think GG should go to 168. He'd run through most of those guys and if Degale struggled with a slow, sloppy pressure fighter in his last fight, imagine if that were Genady pursuing him. Goodnight!
Now is prime for Golovkin to move up and claim some sort of legacy because he's not going to find one at 160. Dominating 2 weight classes, even if they're barren, at least means something in the long run.

DeGale has shown that he's one of the better fighters based on some of his wins alone but he hasn't necessarily looked spectacular in his performances. I think based on a current changing of the guard that he happens to be one of the top two at 168 along with Jack but I don't really see either of them staying dominant or on top for too long. Personally I feel Ramirez & Benavidez (because both are still so young) will be huge threats to them in the coming years if they are still on top by that point.

As for DeGale being at 175 I don't think he breaks the top 5. Kovalev, Stevenson, & Ward are just too good at what they do for DeGale to beat them in my mind. Plus the up and comers such at Beterbiev & I can't remember the other guys name have just been on a roll lately and I would favor them over DeGale as well.
