It really sucks that we went from Garcia and Thurman to prospects. Might as well have kept Friday Night Fights around. PBC is putting all the good fights back on Showtime, which defeats the entire point of bothering to put boxing back on free TV to begin with.

Does anybody know how that lawsuit is going for Haymon?...the one filed by the PBC investors? Didn't Haymon sell PBC to them like it was going to double their investment? How is that turning out?

There was no way Garcia and Thurman were going to continue to fight on ESPN. Those guys were groomed for PBC's best platforms.

I thought it was pretty obvious that in his first year of rolling out this series, Haymon would spread the wealth and see what network would bite. So we saw guys like Wilder, Thurman, Garcia, etc. fighting all over the place. I think the picture's a little clearer now.

Besides, hbo gets paid subscribers for all of there ratings. What does PBC get? Nothing! Not even any real advertising revenue! That's why they are cheeping out on the headline fights. There's no money coming in!

But Great business plan, PBC plan is going just as planned, right?
Seems like it is. They bullied TR into working with them and ostracized GB, they build stars on the cheaper cable formats like ESPN and Spike get them in front of a larger audience on Fox or NBC then collect money from SHO or PPV for the big time fights

Highly watched ESPN? Avg audience of 300K out of 110 million households.
Teddy Me Atlas is good for boxing and calls fights well. Granted Teddy loves himself and Teddy loves talking and Teddy rambles on continuously. But a Friday ESPN weekly boxing show is missed.
