that makes no sense to me.

you want a guy who's never fought at middleweight who got dropped by angulo and has the least fan friendly style in the entire sport.

BJS can box too and is actually a middleweight belt holder....surely that fight actually makes sense?

    BJS V eubank 2
    BJS/Eubank V GGG

    SHOULD be next

Wow reading this thread makes me think you guys didn't even read the article and just skimmed the title. This guy went from saying "I'll fight GGG next" to a couple seconds later saying "I need a couple of tune up and defend my british title a few times before the fight." What?? He needs to shut up already. I'm starting to get annoyed with this guy to the level of Amir Khan.

Eubank Jr is a joke, let's be real here. Nothing he says ever comes across as sincere, he just talks for the sake of it.

i don't think BJS or jacobs will face golovkin in september

unlike eubank, lara is the finished article and can't have his development derailed by a beating at this point. plus if GGG can't get canelo in the ring, at least he'll be able to beat a guy who in many people's eyes already beat canelo. it goes a small way towards settling that question

so while i think eubank-GGG would be fun in september, it could be bigger next year whereas lara's ready to go now

Lara is totally pointless, the only interesting aspect would be, how long would lara be able to survive/run for.
He brings no fans, no money, and 0 excitement apart from a few boxing hipsters who heard lara is an amazing cuban slickster.

Would you have a problem with never seeing lara again? i really would not.

BJS will take the fight imo you just gotta pay him to hand over the belt/Charles martin style.

Go for it Chris, you can only die once.

2 ways of getting a fight:
                1. Earn your shot at the title by becoming a mandatory.
                2. Bad mouth the champion & expect him to pay hood to it & give you a payday.. (I like to call it, do a David Haye)

Frankly for Golovkin people earning the shots are less skilled & bad mouthing people are decent enough to be in the ring..

Atleast you hear Loeffler talking about Eubank as an option if Canelo, Jacobs, Saunders.. But if by talking to media itself you want to secure a fight then Lara is more deserving belt holder than the Mr.British titlist who finds excuses to step up the competition..

Heck, even Spike o' Sullivan called GGG out, should he fight him too??

The Eubanks PR campaign makes no sense whatsoever, just like every 'deep and insightful' platitude from Eubank Snr's lips.

Calls out GGG, fights errrrr...Tom Doran.

"[I'll fight him] right now, tomorrow if possible," Eubank Jr told Sky Sports News HQ.

"I really believe I'll be in the ring fighting for a world title towards the end of this year. I need to get a couple more fights, defend the British belt a few times, then jump in there and win myself a [world] title belt."

This guy is full of *****. He contradicts himself and he keeps mention GGG's name to build some interest/hype around him.

Why Eubank Jr. doesn't go after Jacobs since Jr. is his mandatory challenger or at least avenge his loss vs BJS?????? It's just PR barking from Eubanks.
