So did Pac, Duran & Dempsey. Are you incapable of telling when a fighter is at his peak or something? WK's was around 05-12 most probably..

You cannot suggest WK at 40 after a 20 year career & 68 pro fights (& who lost his main trainer) is at peak can you? Are you dense? HE IS 40! Fighters at HW tend to wane mid 30's..

You must be the dense one. No one is saying he was peak. But to say he got old overnight is just idiotic when the proof you have, has shown itself over and over again as proved by the OP.

Lost his main trainer. GFTO with that BS excuse. His stats were completely similar before and after Steward. As in identical. Literally nothing changed.

It's fine you are looking for excuses, but that's really what they are. Nothing more, nothing less.

No one credible is backing that story.

If you know boxing, and you watch the fight, Wlad looks sharp and in impeccable shape. The lack of punches had nothing to do with age, or being shot, or over the hill. Nothing.

It's just a lazy cop-out for people who don't know boxing and don't know what they saw, or can't articulate it.

        It's actually hilarious to read.

looked in "impeccable" shape and sharp... threw next to nothing. missed when he did. all fury, doe, amiright?

wladimir is goign to lose and retire. people [brits] are still going to claim he was prime. wladimir klitshcko has been boxing for a long, long time, and a lot of you clearly aren't aware, or have forgotten, how markedly different he was in his physical prime. this is a 40 year old athlete. prior to the advent of sissy matchmaking and PEDS 40 year old fighters used to be several years out to pasture. to refuse to recgonize that his age is the most important consideration in the fight is wrong. was it the only consideration? no. is it he most important? of course. the guy was 40 years old, and he's probably going to retire after this fight. he's not retiring because he's still in his prime and just doesn't want to be the f#cking HW champion of the world any more, trust me.

Anyone can play with stats to manipulate a certain agenda.

You're dense mate. Stats don't tell the whole story. Guy has no real pop on his punches.. He can't pull the trigger & he is slowing physically! This was plainly evident.. HE IS 40! Man you're one dense mother ****er!

Hopkins wasn't getting old when he fought Taylor cos his punch output was better against Winky, Tarver & Pascal! I guess he just got better in his 40's.. LMAO

          Hopkins at 45>Hopkins at 35.

Larry Holmes connected with 293 of 724 punches (40%) on Spinks in the rematch! That is consistent & in many cases better than his punch stats in some of his 'prime' contests.. I guess he wasn't a fading fighter after all! LOL What a dense fecker OP is! Watch WK vs. Byrd & Haye & tell me he still had that timing, ring generalship & spring in his step when he fought lumbering Fury & AFTER A 20 YR CAREER & 40 YRS OLD! LOL

nobody's saying he was in his prime. but he has shown the exact same traits many many times throughout his career, difference is this time the opponent could capitalize on it. That's literally the only difference.

Whenever Wladimir has been shown a bit of movement and head movement, he's gone into his shell.

Is he in his prime? No.
did he get old overnight? Please He was the same guy who fought Jennings and Pulev. The same guy YOU claimed would be FAR too much for Fury and would brutally knock him out.

Of course, since you got your prediction dead wrong, Wlad must have gotten old. Laughable.

Wlad didn't throw because he was neutralised, by Fury. You were wrong last time, that's a fact. But you can't take it so it's Wlad's fault. I actually blame tyson, he's the guys that destroyed your prediction. I have a prediction that you won't give Fury the credit (if) when he wins this time. You will say the same again, Wlad got old or something, trying to save face for your failed prediction.
He'll say that Wlad having a baby was the reason.

Fury has a pregnant wife, 2 kids, the world against him, his country hates him, he lost 2 babies before, his cousin is fighting illness, his uncle died...

Wlad's "baby" problems doe. GTFO with that bs

Some you guys remind me of casuals who cant understand why Floyds opponents 'dont just throw more'.

Fury took Wlad out of his comfort zone, didnt allow him to set up a rhythm, didnt allow him to set up his jab, saw when he was trying to set up that dumb left hook that KO'd Pulev, clinched when he was trapped in the corner etc etc etc...

I get bored typing this **** out tbh, but i will keep writing it until the message gets across.

For some stylistically similar fights (though much higher level obviously) try

                      Billy Conn vs Joe Louis

Conn was able to almost completely nullify Louis' offence for 13 rnds using movement, angles and feints until he got ****y and tried to go for the stoppage.

                      Cassius Clay vs Sonny Liston

Similar to Wlad vs Fury and Conn vs Louis , this fight featured a relatively slow footed puncher vs a fleet footed outboxer who was able to stop the puncher from getting set.

Guys like Wlad, Louis and Liston want you 'on the tracks'. they want you to be infront of them so they can set their feet and beat the crap out of you. Guys like Fury, Conn and Clay take themselves off the tracks and dont allow that to happen
