Giving him flack for not going up to 168 but the 3 times he tried he was avoided.You're forgetting Froch, Chavez Jr, and Ward in 2012 because all of them viewed him as too big a risk. Later both GGG and Ward ducked each other because they both viewed themselves as the A side(Ward with his asking of two tune ups just like he did with Kov and has yet to deliver, and GGG's team asking for that ridiculous catchweight.)

There's only so much you can do if the people that matter wont get in the ring with you. Also there is nothing at 168. The most meaningful fight would be degale and he is moving to 175 and is George Groves left overs

When's Andre Ward's next fight? Assuming he's going to face Kovalev in 2016 he better get a move on it and fight the next bum he wants. I made a thread before saying Ward won't fight Kovalev in 2016 but all the majority of NSB disagreed with me. So when's Ward's next fights?

I'm not content with what he's doing in MW but I can't ignore that he could just as easily have Martinez, Cotto, Canelo in his record. Plus Froch, Ward, and Chavez Jr at 168 but he wasn't given the chance. It's like if Leonard hadn't fought benitez, duran, hagler or hearns because the 4 of them decided "no thank you Mr. Leonard you're too good". In essence that's what Cotto, Canelo, Martinez, Froch, and Ward did is just that they didn't vocalize it. Except for maybe Martinez who did admit Golovkin was a beast and Dibella said there was no way Martinez was fighting that monster.

See, judging by logic of these people, if Kovalev is a bum then Ward shouldn't get any credit for beating him at all.

If some person will be praising Ward for beating Kovalev, but you know the same person was saying that Kovalev is a bum before the fight, then you can be confident you ought to slap him in the face

The Ward offer was to fight him at the beginning of this year, it was allowing each a fight before, so Golovkin could have still fought Lemieux. Turned down in 10 mins and they said maybe 2017. Stop the bull**** lies.

Did they turn it down in 10 mins because (should GGG get past Lemieux ofc) he would still be mandated to fight Canelo / Cotto for the WBC / Lineal championship do you think? Loeffler rebuffed Froch at around the same time for the same reason. And yeah... if they were looking at the MW unification in 2016 then 2017 would be a reasonable timeframe for a Ward fight I would have thought.

Kovalev has a pretty decent resume and would have the pimp and Beterviev in his resume but they both declined.

I disagree with you on Kovalev beating Pimpdonis. i think its a very good 50/50 matchup, both have great power, both are skilled.
People overestimate Kovalev's chin, its not that good, neither is it bad, its kind of standard tbh, he has been hurt on several occasions, namely by Pascal in their 1st fight, and Pascal isnt a big puncher, but then again Adonis chin is kind of standard aswell, its not bad nor good either
Adonis holds advantage in 1PunchKoPower, and if he connects with one of his huge Left Hands there is no doubt in my mind that Kovalev will get sparked out
Kovalev holds advantage in work rate and stamina, Adonis tends to gas later on in fights, so if it goes the later rounds id definetly favor Kovalev, also Kovalev would probably put a beating on Adonis as the fight goes, Kovalev rarely loads up on his punches as much as Adonis, Adonis is more of a KO artist while Kovalev is a stalker that breaks his opponents down rather then looking for that 1 big punch.

As for Beterbiev, if they get him a couple of more fights, i dont see either Adonis or Kovalev beating him, Beterbiev punches way harder then Kovalev and Adonis and Beterbiev might just be the p4p hardest puncher in boxing today, every punch he lands gives an echoing thudding noise that can be heard across the arena

I'm wondering when/who the next fight is as well. If I recall correctly, both Kov and Ward are obligated to have their last tuneup by July something, after that they're only allowed to fight one another.

Although if I'm not mistaken, The Kov/Chilemba match comes after this deadline so it's not entirely clear.

As a guy with some quints bet on Kov vs Ward happening this year all this bs with HBO & Ward gots me a lil nervous of losing those bets.

Idk whats the issue with just giving Ward another bs ass fight. Well thats a lie, I know the problem, HBO's budget is busted again before summer is over just like last year more or less. Thus HBO is risking one of their biggest fights this year with a guy who shown he's willing to sit instead of do something he thinks isn't the deal he signed over giving him another bs ass fight due to their budget issues.
