Arreola has lost to better competition and that matters. Where he is ranked right now isn't relevant to the threat he is in the ring nor his experience. Your arguments are weak. And ranked 24th in the world is not that impressive for an opponent who is trying to solidify himself as a true contender.

And did you really just list Helenius and Charr as legitimate reasons as to why Duhaupas is quality opposition?

Don't face palm me. Your arguments are weak as piss mate. You're essentially telling me that who Arreola has lost to gives him more cachet than who the others have actually beaten. In that case Kevin Johnson must be something incredible. He's not only lost to Vitali, he's lost to Fury, AJ and Chisora (himself an epic loser; double the loser points!). Meanwhile, in the real world, fighters are judged on results, and all three of those opponents I listed kick Arreola's ass in that particular category, as well as several others.

You're right that ranking doesn't automatically equal the level of threat you pose, but if Arreola's ranking has no relevance to the argument then what does? He's looked like hot, flabby garbage in his last four fights, three of those against mediocre to terrible opposition, so the idea that he's going to give Wilder some sort of fight is laughable. His experience is meaningless since he always fights in the same way, and shows little to none of the little tricks and tactics that seasoned veterans do, and is easily outboxed. He's exactly the same fighter now as he was when he first started, only slower, weaker, chinnier and with less fire in his belly.

Face facts: Arreola is a low-ranked, shit opponent with a shit resume coming off a string of unimpressive performances against less than stellar opposition. Beating him has about as much relevance right now as beating David Tua.

Arreola can do it. When he's fat he can take a better punch. He needs to focus on power, combinations, and conditioning for 4 street fighting rounds. If Wilder makes it past 4, Chris will lose. He can't bull**** around; he's gotta knock him out early. Just go all out if you get knocked out **** it.
