I have mixed feelings on all of this; on one hand, Shane should retire from the sport and have all his debt (including future child support) adjusted accordingly. On the other, it's not fair that a lot of people here are denigrating Jin. Marriage equals shared burden and overall responsibilities, not merely "opening legs." It's her right to require half of everything and child support.
Now, whether Shane should still be fighting to provide that kind of money is a different matter entirely. It's obvious his time as an elite fighter is over with. He needs to retire and have the payments readjusted, as I said previously. She will, obviously, expect the payments to continue. Fighting your way out of debt won't work, because he doesn't have it anymore. The only way out of this is paying what is realistically accessible to him in retirement.Comment
