    a little early to be labeled trash. Been a pro for 3 plus yrs, is 22 and although he's had a couple of underwhelming performances, he still has barely lost a round. Not sure who you're a fan of but not many fighters have taken on world beaters at 22 yrs old and 3 yrs pro experience.

      yet! he is still undefeated! stop the hate, loma is a great fighter, Verdejo got back on track because his last 2 fights where not his best, still this one he demonstrated that if he works correctly he can perform, and knocking Mexicans is no easy feat.

        This forum is festooned with haters, (not entirely, but there is a lot of filtering to be done to enjoy the posts by so many other interesting posters) to whom the boxing is secondary, as is any modicum of respect.
        Verdejo seems to be coming along very well, a handful of less than stunning showings is little to be concerned about at this stage, development and learning are worthwhile in any boxers career.
