Met the dude at MSG, got a pic with him. Real awesome humble dude.

That aside, his variety of punching makes Felix Verdejo look 1 dimensional. Plus he's pretty damn aggressive. Has Cotto temperament. Can't wait for him to step it up.

Yes his nickname is smurf. Sounds better in Spanish.

To the op I'm a fan. He kicks azz and is from my family home town of barranquitas, Puerto Rico. Looking forward to see him come up. Right now Verdejo is sucking up all the limelight. But he used to fight a lot on solo boxeo tecate. That were I saw most of his fights.

Is it me or was just one straight punch thrown in this entire 1:24 highlight?

I saw haymaker after haymaker, wide hooks. I saw one straight punch thrown the entire highlight, is that how he fights? If it is he's in trouble, 130 is not a whack division at all. And now with Lomachenko joining the top 10 things just got more interesting for an already good division

I never heard of him or saw him fight. Maybe when I see him fight I will join his bandwagon.

Really? So wide punching is normal now I guess

Those wide punches look like left and right hooks too me. Trinidad back in the 90s looked the same but much prettier. Pitufo is just a relative rookie so he doesn't look as clean with his punches. I don't see haymakers as you describe them. Haymakers are those thrown punches were you don't even look were you are throwing it, or with eyes closed Look at the video again. Chris was very diliberate with his punches. He just doesn't have the finesse down yet.
