did loma try to fight everyone in his divisino like ggg did? no so its strange to say he has more ambition. the only difference is he had more wiling opponents who understood economics better than ggg's opponents. even when ggg was willing to be the b-side against froch, froch didn't fight him so its strange to say lack of ambition.

Come on man. Your argument can't be that a retired fighter didn't fight. lol

Still, Loma has an easier time in that at the lower weight classes money doesn't flow the same way as it does in the more premier classes. A lot of the guys that are "avoiding" GGG can make better money than Rocky can not fighting Loma. Rocky either makes peanuts or a good purse. Kind of no in between. Jacobs and BJS are probably bringing in much better purses than Rocky is...I'm sure they can bring a cool mil on their own or at least close to it. NO excuse though... Loma has literally a handful of fights and has a way better resume than GGG and has already moved up. I dont mind not moving up though...but at least be open to other fights if you're supposedly being avoided and have no one to fight.

Yep. GGG gots a ****ty position. I mean you CAN'T give a guy wins over guys he didn't actually fight obviously, but then again you can't ignore that GGG hasn't gotten the fights he should've gotten if he had been more marketable &/or viewed as less of a threat to beat/KO guys either.

I mean it doesn't take much research to see GGG is the most avoided guy or certainly among the top 2 or 3 most avoided guys in the sport today. And business-wise it makes sense. He might beat you & you aren't getting paid as good for that risk you'd be taking.

It sucks that business plays into the competitive aspect of boxing, but that is the way boxing works more often than not at this level in 2016 & that has overall been negative for GGG being shown what his true ceiling is in the sport.

Well fighters like Loma are rare to be honest, his team have a lot of confidence in him thus the reason why he gets matched tough earn on, he even tried to fight Walters. When that didn't happen he moved on. GGG might be ducked but he too is wary of the sort of risks or fights that he takes, loma just doesn't care and would take any tough fights.

Orlando Salado, Gary Russell Jr, Roman Martinez. Lomachenko already has a better resume in his 3 year, 7 fight career than 97K's 10 year, 35 fights of KOing bum after bum.
