I cant find the article, but didnt the president of WBA planned to get rid of
    regular and interim belts?

Are they still going to enforce it or not?

Pretty much said similar things year on year, and people still keep falling for it

The WBA aren't doing anything about their titles, apart from making them more diluted and worthless

I wish they were serious about it, but it's doubtful. Even if they do, bet on them dragging it out for a few years with lots of complications and sidetracks.

They are still handing out belts. Too much money. They probably made 5k today with title fight in Japan.

to avoid lawsuits, they have to wait until mandatories are due and then order the champions to fight each other. they have been slowly reducing the number of champions. will take a few more years to eliminate all of the "regular" & "super" dual champions, but they have been reducing them for sure.

I do know they are ordering Rigondeaux-Flores. That should clear 122 up. Just don't bring them back. 140, 135 and 108 with 122 would be a good start.
