34 years old and you've got people clamouring for Golovkin not to fight the biggest names in the division. You wrote a whole essay as to why he shouldn't fight one of the elite young talents in the division.

Can anybody name me five fighters active in the MW division he should face?.
Which MW is GGG avoiding? Look at the facts...

    1. Canelo- Team GGG is negotiating with GB to make this fight a reality. Whether this fight happens primarily depends on GB/ Oscar giving the green light- looks very doubtful that they will.

2.BJ Saunders- Was offered a career purse to fight GGG, but turned down the fight.

    3. Jacobs- Is aligned with Haymon/ Showtime/ PBC which hardly does buisness with HBO. Team GGG has mentioned that this is a fight that they are interested in. Let's hope the WBA forces this mandatory fight next, so negotiations can begin between the two camps. Jacobs has a fight in July, doubt he will fight again in September.

3.Eubanks- If Eddie Hearn is telling the truth, then there are already preliminary conversations btw Eubanks team and GGGs team.

    4. Andy Lee-- Had agreed to fight GGG before and is a warrior. Stock has taken a hit since he has no more belt and was beaten by BJ Saunders
    Would be a credible fight

    5. Hassan' N' Dam- Top 10 ranked MW but defeated by Lemieux, and would not be considered much of a threat to GGG

Just seen this put up over at Sky, with DeGale rebutting the claims that Eubank Jr "embarassed" him in a sparring session some time ago. I am leaning towards believing DeGale more than the Eubanks on this.

It is really hard to take the Eubanks seriously on anything, they are like cartoon characters. Like other people have mentioned on this thread, I really don't see the reason for all the hype. Eubank Jr's got potential but to say he would beat all of Golovkin's opponents? Not sure about that...
Degale also claimed his opponent couldn't hit him in his last fight, while his face looked like it had been mauled by a chimpanzee. I don't buy Eubank's story but both are sheisters, IMO.

i think its got the chemicals for a decent match up assuming chris jnr has his dads chin, he does have good skill and besides triple g having a big punch his skills are really yet to be proven and be extended into the later rounds by somebody who can box very well.
i reckon canelo passes on it and so does the *****...not sure if galovkins camp would be interested at this time, the only draw on it for them is that he (eubank jnr) is the son of an ex long time world champ and it does have more money it it than a fight with the ***** (bjs).
next up for eubank jnr, either ggg or the ***** in a return.

Both fighters have a similar style.

            Only GGG does everything better.

Eubanks won't be able to bully GGG like most of his bum level opposition.

He will crack in the second half of the fight.

It's a marketable fight, but does little for GGGs resume IMO.

Thanks to the both of you, both lists included Eubanks Jr. My job completed & my point proved.

Haha, yeah good point! Just thought it was interesting that DeGale refuted the story so quickly; I thought it was common knowledge that Eubank Jr was being a nob and got himself ejected from the camp. Anyway, the crux of it demonstrates how publicity-seeking the Eubanks can be. Didn't they also claim that Eubank Jr beat up Froch in sparring?

I dunno, all this bluster and hype just does my head in after a while. Eubank Jr's an arrogant prick, which is OK if you're funny or if you can back it up...
