Golovkin is without a doubt the best 160 fighter, meaning representing that division. There's no question about that.

At this point, fans can only WAIT...for what? For more belts? How will history write Golovkin winning all the belts from whom and when will it happen? Isn't the only logical point in being a historical boxer is to PROVE yourself? Only honest fans know he should already be at 168. How will history blame him for the current 160 division? It's not like it's practical to just erase or delete records. This is why I always have fun about Lil'G... dude is just straight wasting time at 160 if EVERYONE agrees, particularly casual fans, that there's nothing to prove at 160 since he will decisively win.

Very simple: Canelo likes fighting guys who are smaller than him, to insure that he has the weight/strength advantage. As he ages though, it will be harder for him to make even 155 & he will have to move up. That is when we will see what he is truly made of. He's praying that by then, GGG will either be shot or retired.

Canelo can boil down to 155 and rehydrate to 170 plus due to his age and physiology.

You can be sure team ginger pick their opponents very selectively to exploit this.

I actually believe Canelo would still be as effective at 160, so it does make him a bit of a pu55y to keep insisting on these catch weight 'title' fights.
