        Agree 100%. It's pathetic, really. The culture is becoming more and more selfish, every event must be framed in a personal context. What happened to watching an event unfold and assimilating your thoughts and feelings naturally?

            yes, there may be selfishness....

            and your "must be framed in a personal context" view is very valid.......

            as ali have obtained that level of connection to his fans/followers....

            it is easy to judge, but likely these people were just taking the occasion to have a last personal connection to their idol....even just through taking photos...to commemorate the event.....

            personally, i have no problem with that....
