Prime Roach was extremely underrated
Prime Roach was a different kind of beast. A past-prime Pacquiao would never be able to knock down that version of Roach, not even the current Roach, so when Pacquiao, past his prime, finally managed to do the impossible and knock Roach down, then it was interpreted as a sign that Pacquiao was back to his prime.
