I will celebrate as I'm sure everyone else will too. The guy has been boring us for long enough.
A lot younger too HUH? Funny how Klit is a hated fighter.

So double standard with this guy.

Klit ruled for ten years then get beat by a younger Lion at 40.

People would basically say:"man this champion was great but he's too old now he needs retire"

In Klit's case, "Fury is better" or "exposed him".

Lol, we all knew Klit was over the hill when he couldn't stop a cat like Jennings and was going "life and death" with him in few rounds.

He should be I think he won't. He'll probably try to capture other belt to retire as a champ.

Well if he does lose he will definitely retire why should he continue if he doesn't win?

Also IMO if he wins I think its best if he retires off into the sunset on top. Its a great way to go out.

Win or lose id like to see Klitschko retire. Hes gave boxing enough.

That was far from the general consensus and sounds a bit like rewriting history.

Do you believe Klitschko was at his best/prime vs Fury?

Klitschko struggling with Jennings is a fact, and Jennings was not a top contender.

Klit is a serious athlete but lost a lot of speed, cardio in his late 30s.

40 is not young, especially for a huge man if he has to go 12 rounds, 36 fckin minutes in a sport like boxing.

That's an opinion, not rewriting history, Klit still has power and has a puncher chance but his "cardio" who never was great has been plummeting over the last 4 years.

2015-04-25 : Wladimir Klitschko 241½ lbs beat Bryant Jennings 226¾ lbs by UD in round 12 of 12

Location: Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, USA

                  Referee: Michael Griffin

                  Judge: Max DeLuca 118-109
                  Judge: Steve Weisfeld 116-111
                  Judge: Robin Taylor 116-111

Seems the judges "robbed" some rounds to Wlad.

Don't hate on Klitch. Hate on everyone else who weren't good enough to dethrone him for so many years.

I thought he looked better and lighter on his feet vs Fury than Jennings.

I also have seen no real change or decline in Wlad since the Povetkin fight. he's been around that sort of level since.

I'm not saying he was young, but you sound like an apologist.

Klit got beat by the better man.
