What's soo funny is EVERYONE who has seen Mikey fight knows he's the SHT!!! Easily P4P one of the BEST even right now... And he doesn't even like fighting???? Wow!!! Very rare is talent like that! Just imagine if he actually truly gave into boxing like the elites do.

I think he should sign with Floyd in association with Haymon for a few fights. In the process, he will get to know a lot of good fighters (potential stars) the likes of Gervonta, Spence, and others. They would also give him tough, express sparring (tune-up) sessions for his first fight back. I see him doing good in that mix there.

If Mikey had half a brain, he wouldnt sign with anyone and just fight as a free agent.
If he really feels he needs to sign with someone, then he should go with GBP since IMO the best option, Top Rank, is a bridge he already burned.

He should've never even considered Haymon and Mayweather for obvious reasons(like the fact that Haymon has no good mexicans in his stable but instead has the biggest collection of mexican binmen this side of ALA shows), but you know what, its his life to screw up if he wants.

I don't think he needs a Promoter, maybe just get Haymon as his Adviser and him and his Brother Robert can build up their own BRAND like Mayweather did. Mikey Garcia can certainly build up a huge Brand especially in Los Angeles! Fans haven't forgot about him at all which I'm sure was Arum plan, instead it is actually high anticipation to see him back in the ring

**** I've been waiting for this sooner than expected return to the ring since early 2015 & I got more patience than most lol. But fair play at this point, do you & get all your ducks in a row Mikey.

And I suspect Mikey won't sign with anyone long term (well Haymon as an adviser maybe, assuming he isn't already, which I suspect he is although I've not seen that 100% confirmed or denied). I think we will see a Garcia family promotion or we will see Mikey freelance on a fight by fight basis with a bigger promotion as a Garcia family promotion grows with Mikey headlining it when it is feasible to do big cards under that banner. Robert has supposedly been holding guys back from signing with promoters for that exact reason. And the Garcia family is so immersed in the boxing business I think this would be a long term great move for them.

Haymon has a bunch of Mexican fighters. Haymon has a bunch of fighters from every f#cking nationality. He's the UN of boxing advisors.

And Mayweather might not have a ton of Mexican fighters under his banner, but by all accounts has great respect for Mexican boxing & boxers. How can you care about boxing & not care about & respect Mexican fighters? I'm not sure you can.

And I like GBP for Mikey best probably if he were to sign with a promoter, but I don't think you make that move until this Canelo/ASB thing gets figured out. If GBP were to lose that case & have to pay ASB up to $81M I suspect GBP could need to file for bankruptcy or need to restructure their business for the foreseeable future over catching that L to that degree. I don't suspect it'll happen, but it could & Mikey shouldn't take that risk so in the event GBP is on the table the obvious move is wait to see with them.

Idk why free agents that are so covenant have such a hard time thinking about it. It's simple; you left TR because you were unhappy with your purses. Guys like Guerrero are still making 1.5 mils per fight with Haymon. Sh.it, both berto and ortiz made 750k for their fight. Haymon or GBP should be the only 2 options being considered, with Haymon having the slight lead
