No chance of them really wanting GGG. Wait for a few weeks until english says that GGG is ducking his son and we will take another British Defense.
He already did step up, and was schooled, he was mandatory for Jacobs, and was offered the BJS rematch. He could be a double belt holder if he had taken those fights, but now he wants the wrecking ball, for much less money..yeah right.

I recon Eddie said that in an interview that its Eubank Sr. who is difficult to negotiate with & Eddie's Dad had to negotiate with Eubank Sr for them to work with matchroom.. So Eubank Sr is pretty much calling the shots here but I doubt if this fight happens this year tbh, Eubank himself fights on undercards & cannot sell stadiums in UK. But it will be a good fight when it happens & till it lasts..

'Beat his ass' is a bit of an overstatement, lol. Saunders-Eubank was very close, mainly because Eubank fought in a stupor for the first six rounds and let Billy put rounds in the bank. When he actually started letting his hands go, the difference in strength and power was obvious. How many holds did Saunders initiative in the last 6 rounds? He was holding on for dear life at times. If Eubank starts from the first round next time, I seriously doubt Saunders hears the final bell. Eubank has improved quite a bit since the first fight, Saunders looks to me like the same fighter - quick feet, quick hands, suspect conditioning (I had his fight with Lee a draw, Saunders faded badly) and so-so work rate.

Not sure what happened with Eubank turning down the Saunders rematch. Presume Warren wanted options or Sky convinced Eubank that his future was on that channel, for bigger money, and that they could renegotiate the Saunders rematch down the line. Considering Eubank fought on a PPV bill in Dec, and is now fighting on another, I assume he is making some nice purses. Anyone actually know what Warren was offering for the rematch?

Yeah, sure anyone's got a punchers chance if they can punch - which Eubank Jr certainly can when his feet are bolted to the ground. Eubank Jr seems to have to set himself quite heavily to let 'em go and I think Golovkin is too mobile and too fast for Eubank Jr to get anything on him... we saw what GGG did to Lemieux, I think it would be a similar story

Anyway, you didn't just say Eubank Jr has a puncher's chance, you said you think he is a "serious threat". I really can't see that at all.

The comment you refer me to (which supposedly answers a question?), I don't understand how it is relevant, except to say that:
a) Eubank has unfinished business with Saunders
b) Anyone who thinks Saunders v Lee was a draw must be blind
c) Using the word 'if' in an argument is pretty indicative of a shyte argument. "If Eubank Jr had started earlier, he could've... blahblahblah". How about my use of the word 'if'... if Saunders can beat him, I'm damn sure Golovkin can

Eubank Jr v Golovkin will not happen this year, and it's a good thing too, as it wouldn't be competitive. Eubank Jr needs to develop a bit more before sending him into the slaughter, English is just being an attention-seeking muppet AS USUAL. No way would he want this fight for his son
