          This is going nowhere.

They will get a few million in compensation from Golden Boy and that will be that.

Oscar claimed ASB spent no more than $5,000 promoting Canelo. Look at this video of his last fight with Tyner and tell me if you think they spent less than $5,000 promoting Canelo. ASB wasn't some rag tag small hall promoter. The fight was on national TV and Corona was the sponsor. Oscar is an idiot. No wonder everybody left him when he fired Schaefer

The $5,000 figure might not be all that accurate, but Corona (along with many others) were just that, sponsors. They provide financial support in exchange for placement and promotion during the event.

it was mainly televisa financing canelo back then, all those sponsors had nothing to do with all-star, they are the same sponsors televisa had night after night in "sabados de corona"... plus is well known that canelo was considered a product of televisa before golden boy... i didnt even knew all-star before this law suit...

Looks like De La Coca told Canelo that deadlines are expired and he is not going to fight GGG anytime soon, and told him that Liam Smith is interested haha

My point is $5000 isn't going to get you broadcast on major TV and a major beer sponsor. This was his last fight with ASB. He'd had 9 previous fights with them. In order to get him to this point they would have had to spend more than $5,000. One single promotion costs more than $5000.
