    Yeah but that won't happen.

The likes of Eddie Hearn never even mentions the words "Luis Ortiz" when reeling off lists of potential fights for his heavyweights. Most fighters just ignore his existence too.

This guy will never get a shot at a champion until he forces himself into a mandatory position, and even then it might not happen as we've seen many times in boxing these days.

Just too high risk - low reward. Even Tyson Fury who rarely has a good word to say about any heavyweight said "He's a big dangerous c*nt that Ortiz". They know what they see.

He might be overhyped, who knows? but i bet not many are willing to find out unless they get paid handsomely for it.

What the hell lol, he has lined AJ up with a world title fight then he put him in with a fight against a good undefeated American and he will likely move him up ONCE again against another tough opponent.
AJ and Hearn will want to make the Haye fight in 2017 and they might just want to fight Tyson Fury If he is successful in the rematch.

You forget AJ has only had like what 16 fights?
Luis Ortiz will get a turn If AJ gets dealing with the bigger money fights.

          I never even mentioned Joshua.

I was just making a point that certain promoters and most fighters don't even acknowledge Ortiz, even though everyone knows he's might be a real threat to the division. I just used Hearn as an example of promoters not even speaking his name, because i've noticed he never does.

Not once did i mention the name Anthony Joshua and you replied with a lengthy post about him haha. Crazy fans.

Ortiz is never going to get a big fight by the choice of his opponent. His only route is to become the mandatory to one of the champions. He either needs to get a GGG situation where another organization makes him mandatory for a belt, or he needs to drop the WBA belt in order to become mandatory for another champion.

Because as long as he's not mandatory to them, that WBA strap won't help him at all. Every other top fighter will avoid becoming WBA mandatory so they don't have to face him, and he'll just get a bunch of C list opponents who have no other options. But if he drops the WBA, becomes mandatory for Wilder or Fury or Joshua's belt, then beats one of them, he will end up in the same place with a championship belt, but also the name recognition from winning a big fight, and then he will be in a better spot.

If Ortiz really wants big fights, that's what he needs to do. Stop asking for these "business men" boxers to do the right thing for the sport, it will never happen, and force it. That's the only way.

Naw Ali had Parkinsons beaten into him; we need to honor him by making sure those who cheat with roids and increase the risk of that damage aren't allowed to fight

What? You want to kill the sport dead when half the boxers hang their gloves up?

King Kong takes their belts and their girl..Paulie style!

Ortiz vs Ustinov is a good fight, but I think he takes him out in 6.

Well, why does Hearn need to mention his name then If it's not to fight his golden goose?
What do you want him to say, oh there is also this fighter called Luis Ortiz who hasn't fought anyone decent yet maybe we will fight him?
                    Ridiculous tbh.
