Saw that with Ricky Hatton, talked about fighting Tyszu under warren around 2001 and fight happened in 2005... Not blaming Hatton here doe
There's a difference between someone who's not ready and somebody who can improve significantly. Eubank can improve significantly over the next few years, however he's more than capable of giving Golovkin a better fight than almost anyone below 168lbs.

I think Eubank would give Golovkin a far more dangerous fight than Alvarez. One difference between Alvarez & Eubank though, I think Alvarez isn't going to improve much more than what he is right now.

As for Eddie Hearn, perhaps he's blowing smoke trying to hype up Eubank, but Eubank is only signed for one more fight and Eddie probably wants that guaranteed payday. People thought the Eubanks were crazy for jumping into the Saunders fight, but they did anyways and lost his zero. His dad is over the moon about him b/c of how he's watched him dominate Froch & DeGale in sparring, and how he's able to handle sparring HW's.

You leave out Dmitry Chudinov, a guy Jacobs put off fighting. That fight showed Eubank's mental improvement from the Saunders fight. Chudinov is a Khurtsidze level fighter, tough and tenacious and Eubank beat him up bad.

Nah. Khurtsidze gives BJS a tough fight, but Bill outboxes him. Khurtsidze is hell if you play to his strengths, but his physical limitations keep him from being a legit top 10.

He's in a crappy spot, yet again. At 160 there is Eubank and Saunders. Saunders would be the best option, just to get all the belts, but who knows with Saunders- he's a twitter talker and seems like he's demanding too much money but we'll see. Eubank is a solid option, but with Eubank getting rejected trying to fight in the Olympics, makes me doubt how serious he and his team are in fighting Golovkin this year. Time will tell. At 168, I don't even know who's available and worth moving up for. Might as well fight Lara if he's down to fight at 160 - respectable name, could "one up" Canelo so to speak.

              These casual fans amuse me.

Other so called top fighters struggle with their opposition, with their mandatories, with other top 10 fighters in their division, thats why MW is bad and other divisions are top.

Yeah I know Porky Medina is suddenly a Top P4P fighter and the Charlos are the Elite of the sport.

GGG has quite a few potential opponents.

Saunders, Canelo, Eubank, Heiland (Mando), Zurdo, Jacobs, possibly even Lara if nobody else available.

I agree. Andy Lee would be excellent.

I gotta see what Chudinov does post-Eubank Jr. So far he hasn't faced an opponent the level of Eubank Jr. But Khurtsidze vs. Eubank Jr would be a great fight. I don't think Eubank Jr is a bad fighter. I think he's fringe world level. I wanna see that Saunders rematch. He can't call out GGG when he still has Saunders problems. And that's a big fight! He should've made that fight before he went back to Sky Sports
