Seriously, Ive seen Beterbiev in the ring, and outside, he's a real gentleman, really focus on his on goals, the guy is on a mission. When Beterbiev was fighting the best in the amateur world, Kovalev was fighting the best cab & bus drivers as a pro. Personally, I think Beterbiev needs a couple more fights." Kovalev have a killer jab, even tho Beterbiev fight well inside, I think he's not on the same level yet ... neither the opponent Artur being facing. I know for a fact that nobody willing to face him, better go to next level like Bellew did.

31 is not that old for a pro boxer. The current wbc lhw (artur's division) is 38 yrs old. He has plenty of years up his sleeve to win a world title!
He's getting attention because people can tell someone's potential from watching them fight. Dont need to beat a champ to tell they are the goods.
He beat Kovalev in amateur, what's to say he won't do it in pro ranks?

The light heavyweight division at the amateurs is 165-179lb...
Not a problem for Beterbiev at the Olympics -- but a problem for the other participants...

Any pro. Especially, a legit pro who's ranked and viewed as a future champion should be ashamed to even think about boxing in the Olympics...

Why would Haymon try to protect Stevenson from Beterbiev? Stevenson is almost 40, Beterbiev is in his prime, more exciting and fights out of the same country for the same fan base. A fight between Kovalev and Beterbiev could eventually do better than Kovalev vs Stevenson considering their styles and their history with each other (That is if Kov will stop hiding under Duva's skirt).
