I wouldn't call him a traitor if he wants to fight for Pakistan. He could always just fight for a different belt even though I'm sure he doesn't want to work his way back up since he never really did that for the wbc.

I told you guys he wouldnt be going to Rio, he'd be banned for 2 years if he did

Secondly the BBOBC already have stated they are not happy with Pro's being selected, specifically mentioning Khan. They have pretty much already selected the team and there will be no Pro's going from GB to Rio

Thirdly Khan was over in Pakistan opening up a gym, he answered a question in jest, and it was taken out of context. He was on there on business, he's selling them something.

He had not intentions of going to Rio

Khan needs to think before he makes statements, even his jokes and sarcasm is taken seriously

I don't understand who calls him a traitor. He has Pakistan heritage and British citizenship. I mean, why couldn't he also fight for Pakistan? He also fights for Pakistan as a pro.

He fights for the UK as a pro just like Fernando Vargas who was a very boisterous about his heritage, but was "officially" an American fighter as was Oscar. Hamed also brought the Yemeni flag with him and Witter with the Jamaican flag on his trunks. Etc etc etc.

I agree.

He says stuff that will get him cheers because he gets unconditional love over there cuz there is no one like him from there. I vaguely remember he said something like he is a champ from Pakistan, but A) he is from Bolton B) he is officially registered/reps the UK.
