Kellerman defending Vargas on HBO right now. It seems like the perfect smoke and mirrors ploy for the NFL and boxing to blame tainted beef for the soaring positive tests within their leagues/sports.

Nah I am starting to buy the tainted beef story. First the stuff he took is for cutting weight not something that makes you stronger so how does this compare to Marquez who got with a ped cheat and turned into a shredded terminator.

Max made a great point why would you be taking something to cut weight 6 weeks out of a fight? And such low amounts and he passed testing days before his one fail. And long documented problem in Mexico with their meat.

What penalty has Povetkin received to date? The WBC postponed the fight and gave his camp plenty of time to come up with plausible excuses.....Wilder's camp forced the issue which is why it's a big deal now.

He was caught with Clenbuterol in his system. You can use that for fat burning but Clenbuterol can also be used as a masking agent for other hardcore drugs like anabolic steroids, so he could very well be a cheater.

I haven't seen anyone reporting that it's used as a masking agent. Everything I've read says if you using it for peds it would be to lose weight. Again too much evidence for me points to it being legit bad meat. Mexico has a big problem with their meat. Failed nothing before or after that one test and way too many weeks out for him to be trying to cut weight.

Clenbuterol is a well known masking agent. It can be used to disguise other drugs i.e anabolic steroids and that's why it's on WADA's banned list. There's a reason why Track stars, swimmers and cyclists use it and many have been busted for Clen. In track&field I think you get suspended for a year or two if you get caught with clen in your system
