It's really sad when politicians can't take a day off from their mud slinging to honor the memory of TBE. Muhammad Ali was not a politician and people should not politicize his passing. We should remember and mourn the loss of an icon.

Didnt Trump say there have been no successful US ****** sportsmen? Yet he praises Ali (and Tyson). Those 2 are probably the most known athletes coming out of the US that even people who dont follow sports know.

Anyway you cant say a bad thing about Ali , the way he has had a huge impact on our sport and the world can probably never be trully matched.

He is/was friends with Karim Abdul Jabbar so you might want to double check that.

Ali and Family despised Trump

When ***** last year pointe out we have ******s Sports heroes, Trump tweeted who. He was totally unaware of who ***** was referring to.

How dare Trump drop Ali's name. He'd band members of his religion from coming to the U.S., but now talks about his courage.

Trump, Ali's courage was standing up to people like you. Standing up to war hungry despots. To be a ****** and proud, while throwing away three years of his athletic prime to do what he thought was right.

If done today, Trump would denigrate Ali for refusing the daft, despite Trumps multiple deferments. He'd call Ali an America hater for refusing to serve by wearing red/white/blue trunks.

The Clintons have done many charities and such with Ali.

None of those politicians give a flying **** about Ali. I doubt Hillary even knows who Ali was

they're nothing but opportunistic twats pretending to care when they don't, just to garner the public's sympathies.

I'd agree but Clintons and Ali have worked together. Trump too, but that was before he was a racist spewing hate about Mexican judges and proposing we violate the first ********* repeatedly--aka suing journalist who report on him, banning an religion, etc.

Yeah, if boxers dominate the art of fist fighting, politicians dominate the art of lying and faking

A politician can have a dinner with you to discuss some matter, treat you like his bestest friend, give you gifts etc. send you off with a warm hug and best wishes to your family

then once you're gone, calmly order his goons to discretly put a bullet in the back of your head later and make it look like a robbery. because you'll probably cause him problems going by some stuff you said during the friendly dinner.
