A Question To All Fans In Europe

Are the Klitscko Bro's famous over there? Only boxing fans know them here in the U.S, no casual fans ever heard of them.

They aren't famous all over Europe but they are big names in some countries like Russia, Ukraine and Germany.

Depends where in Europe you go. I doubt too many people know them in Italy, Spain, France etc. A lot of people know them in Germany, a few know them in Britain, and tons seem to know them in Eastern Europe.

What you have to remember is Europe is a big place but more importantly, a place where it has a lot of different cultures.

I'd say the Klitschko brothers are famous in Germany and countries what they used to call the "Eastern Bloc". In the UK, i'd say most sports fans knew the name Klitschko but now they are more familiar since Wlad fought Haye and more recently Fury, but it's not a household name or anything. Having spent time in Spain, France, Italy..kind of mediterranean countries, i can say that almost nobody knows them unless they were really into boxing, the average man on the street wouldn't have a clue who you were talking about but these are countries where boxing doesn't really get much exposure at all.

But as i say, it's difficult to generalise Europe because for instance Romania is a completely different way of life to Germany.
