This country FAILED MISERABLY on a promise that was made that INCLUDED Black people! So don't give me that crap about what REAL AMERICANS do or did back in the 60's and early 70's because it sure as *** didn't include treating Black people as the worthy human beings they are! If Clay/Ali had heard that fighter ships and planes were headed toward America and his and everyone's families were at risk of losing their lives, he damn sure well would have picked up arms and fought against the enemy! That is different than Vietnam! Vietname was WRONG!

im surprised to see nothing about the cleveland "big cat" williams fight, this display was probably the most one sided demolition of an at the time world class opponent, in my mind this was the fight that truly showed how fluent this man was with his genius inside the ring.
speed, agility, range, power were all evident in what was the fight that will remain in my head forever.....especially the double dose of his amazing "ali shuffle", pure magic.

Doug Jones. Razor thin back and forth fight where he was tested and prevailed. He doesn't get to Liston if he didn't dig down deep and pull out that W against a rugged top contender.

It is not hard to distinguish who the real americans are in the USA. Look around as it is clear who matters and who does not matter in the USA. Clay was no hero and should have been sent to prison or exiled. The heroes in America are those kids who died defending the USA in wars. get a grip or leave. the door is open.

The REAL Americans are people who ACCEPT others for who they are, NOT treat them worse than second class citizens and expect them to fight A WRONG WAR for a country that treats them like SHT on the back of their shoe!!! This was NOT World Ward 2, this was a WRONG WAR that even the architects of that war admitted was WRONG!!!

I was born in 1988 so I was not around when Ali was a fighter but is anyone old enough to remember that fight? I can imagine watching Ali knock out the unstoppable Foreman like that in the 8th round must've been amazing.

Not just Ali's best win, but arguably the best win in boxing history.
