    Ali paved the way for guys like Tyson and ODL to become PPV stars. RIP to The Greatest.

        They robbed him 3 and half years of his prime!!! That just adds to the legend..Imagine what he could've done in those 3 and a half years!! What an incredible man

          From johnson to to dempsey to pep to ray robinson to ali . These guys were the first true super stars of boxing . Ali helped boxing become main****** on tv .the whole world knew Ali without instagram and facebook.

          His had the most charisma of all the greats. Pretty footwork , an iron chin , a great jab and was as tough as nails. Forever Legend

            This goes to show how much of a lightning rod Floyd Mayweather is. De La Hoya basically says the same thing and this thread hasn't even gotten a tenth of the controversy that the Mayweather thread did.

            I agree with both mens statements. Ali paved the way for future fighters to reach the pinnacle of boxing.
