RIP to the Greatest.
I met him for a brief second working as a security guard at a hospital he was visiting Buster Mathis Sr at. I held the door for him and said, "hey Champ." He gave me his famous look where he bit his lower lip and furrowed his brow. It was one of the coolest things that ever happened to me.
Ali was a lot more than a boxer, he was a legend and he did so much for the self esteem of young black men world wide.Comment
