Then let Khan give up British citizenship and represent Pakistan in the Olympics. But it would be hilarious if Khan lost to some unknown kid from anywhere.
Have you not heard of dual citizenship? Lennox Lewis won gold for Canada but he declares himself very much British and he grew up here.
If he does through with it though it's probably because he wants to be the first Pakistani to win gold/silver in a individual sport and to cement his legacy as a Pakistani hero. Pretty Lame way of doing it though
How else is he going to do it? Take up a track & field event?

I think you missed my point
Pakistan has never won a gold or silver in the Olympics for a individual sport. So if khan decided to be on the Pakistani boxing team it would be a legitimate shot for Pakistan to grab a gold or silver which it has never done if Khan was the lone pro feasting on Amateurs.
He would be the first Pamastani to win gold but I don't imagine Pakistan has a deep Olympic squad he probably could qualify for their 100m team , 800m, swimming or whatever other sport he wanted because he'd probably be competing against himself
