Lou DiBella, who is the promoter of choice for WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (36-0, 35KOs), says a showdown with IBF champion Anthony Joshua (16-0, 16KOs) could be a "mega-fight" - once the British fighter builds up his name with the American fans.

wilder's almost as unproven as joshua so why not? i say take wilder out now while he still has that berto/broner hype surrounding him. the real tough opponents like fury and ortiz he can worry about later.

Deontay Wilder is simply a bum, like only USA can mass produce, who doesn't know anything except windmill people and perform some mouth postures before cameras trying to show us he's a tough guy

He dresses like usualy low IQ people dresses and who logicaly didn't realize that !!!

        BUUUUM SQUAAAD !

And when is Wilder gonna build his name up with American fans?

The guy is 35-0 with 34 KO and nobody knows who he is...it's odd and more proof that boxing is nothing more than a niche sport...30 years ago he'd be all over magazines and on TV and everyone would know who he is...

I think its more to do with the fact America's boxing stars have no personality

Ward is arguably Americas top fighter but he doesn't get anywhere near the praise he should because he's a genuine boring guy

wilder is a knockout waiting to happen so I don't see many investing much hope with him either

Boxing is slowly dying in America while its getting bigger by the month over here

And Wilder is also a work in progress, with clear flaws. These heavyweights can't hold a candle to Lennox Lewis, Tyson, and a prime Holyfield and Bowe, even though the latter avoided Lewis like the plague.

Nice to know you live in America. I think all the top stars fight in America if I am not mistaken. Khan does not fight over there and Degale already fell in love with America. Joshua is a knockout waiting to happen also and I wouldn't be surprised to see him abandon UK also. More money and exposure over here.

All it takes is one punch especially in the heavyweight division cc Buster Douglas, Oliver Mccall. Today athletes are stronger faster and bigger and thats only a FACT.
