    Of course it is, anything can be challenged in court and this blatant discrimination.

    If a pro wants to try out for The Olympics he has every right to.

    It's no different to them coming out and saying we won't be selecting any black fighters for the Olympic team this year.

      Not surprising. I mean some of the boxers who are qualified already or are fighting for the remaining spots still have been trying to get to this moment for 4 years (or longer). Highly unfair to them whatever country they are from. And its even unfair to the potential pros to say "oh by the way you guys can fight if you want...for real this time" 2 months before the Olympics.

      It was a horribly planned alteration. But **** maybe its for a reason, maybe the writing is on the wall with boxing being kicked off the Olympic schedule in 2020, which wouldn't surprise me, if they don't do well & getting Manny in would be huge for them.

        I think that's the right call, I read the other day Beterbiev is willing to go to the Olympics, for either Russia or Canada if he was allowed, hopefully he doesn't take that path though.
