Only a handful of fighters today have a shot. Ward being number 1 at 168 and Kov being another. Other than that, I wouldn't favor anyone south of 168 against him in today's game.

i don't think hearns could beat kovalev or ward. not sure about golovkin. my heart says hearns, and i htink you have to favor hearns based on their records, but golovkin might plank him. he hits harder than marvin hagler, that's for damn sure.

Ward can beat him. But Ward is the only guy I would pick to beat him.

Id pick Hearns to beat GGG. Kovalev, Id have to watch more of him and hearns at 175 to be honest.

160 and below his chin gets too much hate. He was only stopped by two ATG's. SRL he was stopped late and that has more to do with exhaustion and being broken down. Hagler he went to war trading wildly. I see no reason why he wont box GGG's ears off and be able to handle whatever lands. Lets not forget his handspeed, reach, accuracy and the fact that GGG is extremely unproven and not too hard to connect on either.

I'd fancy Hearns against anyone 154 and below. There's a couple guys between 175-160 that could knock him off.

                Great thread

Hearns KO's Floyd. Punishes him with his great jab, his reach would not allow Floyd to dictate the fight. Hearns is the worst matchup for Floyd.

Can outbox GGG like he did Virgil Hill and Wilfrid Benitez.

Ward would be a toss up. I give the edge to Hearns because he has 1 punch power that Ward will never have. One punch would change the fight immediately and it will land.

Kovalev too strong, might get KO'd. Hearns wasn't a Light Heavy for that long.
The question is Kovalev is so great how would he do against a Micheal Spinks.

Golovkin vs Hearns- They both have a chance because they both have skill to compliment their power. Golovkin has a better chin but Tommy has better power. A genuine 50/50 fight that depends on who lands first.

Ward vs Hearns- I favor Tommy at 168 but at 175 Ward. I still have to see Ward take shots from a guy with genuine 1 punch power. Also Tommy is the better boxer.

Kovalev vs Hearns- Kovalev ices him. Kovalev is a big 175 fighter with one punch power at a weight that is not Tommy's best.

Beterbiev vs Hearns- Hearns gets iced. Once again not his fault just the weight.

                    Pimp vs Hearns- 50/50.

Everyone else vs Hearns- They all get schooled or knocked out. I think its not fair to judge Hearns at 168 and 175. He's a monster at 147, 154, and 160.
