However i don't think Pakistan has much of a team, so he wouldn't be taking anyone's position

Although i don't think he will go to Rio, seems just a media story

I rather pro's not join, but there will be a few joining,

People saying Brook should join, well they will not allow it, trust me. No Pro's will be allowed to take part from GB

Brook could probably rep Trinidad, if he wants to face Khan.

      However i hope no pro's don't go

You didn't answer my question. Why did people boo Khan as early as Barrera for instance?

There was no other Brit to bag a boxing medal, plus you can call it adrenaline rush.

As far as general public is concerned, Khan is held to higher standard than other Welters. He might not be hated but he certainly wasn't embraced by the general public for someone who has accomplished so much. Lots of people want him to lose to Kell, so "their" Brook can have a win over him.

Since we are on the subject did you try going for Denmark considering it would be easier than UK when you were amateur? I mean did it cross your mind?

the amateur system in denmark isn't good for going to the olympics. Boxing is a minor sport so they hardly ever take a team. I don't think Denmark had a team since 1992 if i'm not mistaken.

But I was never good enough anyway. I did ok in the juniors for my club but seniors wasn't great and I stopped competing at 21/22 years old.

I dont recall this, do you have a source? Honestly Khan just annoys me with his arrogance. He has been badly knocked out but never shows any humility afterwords.

If your going to be arrogant then you need to be able to back it up. David Haye also lost a lot of fans after the Klitchko fight.

Tyson Fury arguably gets the most hate out of any British fighter, so I dont think Khan's race is a major factor to the hate.

These peoples allegiance is never to us, they make it seem like it is but it isn't. He even has a Pakistan flag in his garden, no ****ing British flag. Silly c*nt. And to think I felt sorry for him after he got decked by Canelo. I just want to see him knocked out again.

Khan just doesn't have a personality that endears himself to the British public like Hatton did. I'm sure a few people don't like him for racial/religion reasons, it happens but in general it's just down to him as a person. AJ is becoming a crossover star and nobody cares that he's black in a country where there were hardly any black sportsmen given a chance 30 years ago. AJ plays the humble act and people buy it. Brook isn't a household name so he's not worth comparing. Hatton was kind of the regular bloke down the pub so he endeared himself to like minded people.

Khan had a certain arrogance about him, going on chat shows when he was like 18 years old saying he's going to become a star and champ and retire at 26, when the average person watching that show probably earns minimum wage and will be working until they're old. Little things like that rub people the wrong way i think. I'm not saying this example specifically, i'm just saying he never had a personality that the public warm to, so that's why his stardom basically disappeared in the UK and he couldn't sell his last fights out here.

Everyone still knows his name but the only people that care about him now are a few boxing fans, the public have moved on now.

But hardcore boxing fans are a different kettle of fish altogether. If for example, a white man was obsessed with everything a black man said, spent time everyday to rubbish him, never had a nuanced view on him, generally wished ill and did this over a period of years then an impartial person would deduce race is a factor because there's no rational or proportional reason to hate the person, the difference being race. In Britain there are a significant amount of people who don't like ******s,it's almost a psychic scare to see a successful Asian ******, just like it is in America to see blacks do well.

All we hear he has a weak chin thats why .... Errr ok,does that explain the obsession and hate? Where's the outlier atrocious behaviour that explains the outlier obsession?

Literally every sentence is analysed, why?
I again smell a racist Asian who is obsessed with race trying inadequately to spin it .....it's you we should be watching, not glass jaw.......he's harmless....lol.
