The fight can happen after Povetkin serves his suspension for testing positive for a banned substance. They should add something since IMO he clearly lied when he said he hadn't taken any since January, given the negative tests then the hot ones.
    test

6 months for the positive and maybe 6 for lying.

PEDvetkin is a slow commie robot on drugs and more fake

Screw PEDvetkin that enhancement taking commie cheater. Wilder should just move on away from that deceiving low down drug cheat Pedvetkin the louse. Clean boxing up and ban the Russian from the sport. Wilder should be fighting every 3 months anyway to make some cash and lots of it. Few in America even know who the hell Wilder is anyway.

First of all, I don't think Wilder fears Povetkin. I think the exact opposite is true.

I mean that is why you CHEAT, isn't it?

Because you fear you can't win without doing so, right?

He took the same tests each time folks.

No other explanation for why multiple tests all come back clean then all of a sudden he pops positive for meldonium.

HE USED IT AND HE GOT CAUGHT.

And no, a clean test a month later doesn't mean he didn't CHEAT; it just means the one or two doses he took cleared his system.

He should be suspended and fined, period.

I don't even want to see the fight now. Any interest in this fight for me at this point would be strictly to see Povetkin get KTFO. There is something about Alexander Povetkin I just don't like. I can't put my finger on it, but I see it in his eyes. He's a dishonest cheat con artist who is trying to be sly. He comes off extremely slimy to me, and I just don't like him.

I understand I've never met the guy, and I'm just going off my gut instincts. But my gut is batting at least .750 in my lifetime.

Povetkin and his team prove that the drug agency once again don't know what they're doing it was residual.
Povetkin team should likely take action against those people and it should be made mandatory to get this WBC showdown with Povetkin and Wilder, Povetkin name is clear.
Too bad the same agencies who do everything to protect Floyd will do anything they can to slander innocent fighters to protect their American profit.

"The sample taken a week earlier also lacked traces of Meldonium. Thus, only one of Povetkin's six samples revealed extremely low concentrations of the prohibited drug.

"The new result proves that the positive sample in April was a residual effect of Mildronat taken last year. If the drug was taken in the period between April 11 and 27, traces would also have been found in the latest tests."

The same people to attack Povetkin are the same people to defend Floyd, some of you people are jaded as ****.

wilder already made up his mind. he will continue to duck povetkin. frickin coward. povetkin only had very tiny traces of a drug that doesnt prove to enhance performance.

                  wilder never wanted this fight.

They can't ban him for a positive when he's 15 times below the limit set in place by WADA. That's where the guidelines come from.

The only way he can be banned is if they conclude he must have taken the substance after the ban, rather than the earlier tests being false negatives.

not good enough for the wilder tards. they still claim guilty and support their hero running like a coward. this is why boxing has become a joke sport.
