Comments Thread For: Roach: I'd Still Like Mayweather To Face a 'Healthy' Manny Pacquiao

Freddie Roach, who trains eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao, is still hoping to secure a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. They fought in the 'Fight of The Century' last May, and the bout shattered all financial records when it comes to boxing. The event generated 4.6 million buys on pay-per-view and 600 million in revenue.

You'd have to create a time machine to go back to 2009-2011, otherwise, no point. Floyd waited until Pacquiao went thru wars and got washed up like the coward that he is.

People will always bring it up when discussing the fight. The fight took place 5 years after Pacquiao's prime, that is non debatable.

And everyone knows Marquez was heavily roided for that fight, non debatable as well.

And 2009-2011 means what? That Pac is possibly on PEDS and wont take the test? Maybe he should of just took the test back then and fought Floyd rather than wait 5 years to do it, ever think about that?

Don't know why Roach keeps mentioning Paqcuiao coming back. Even if it's that easy, the newly-elected senator has no more motivation to come back until he runs out of money. His comments about gays got himself into trouble. And the cold reception he got when he was promoting his last fight made it easy for him to retire for good.

Probably mentioning him and trying to get him out of retirement for the pay cheque he'd get. If he cared about him he would want him to stay retired. Everyone has their own agendas I guess
