Comments Thread For: Golovkin's Coach: Danny Jacobs No Longer Calls For GGG Fight!

Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBC/WBA/IBF/IBO middleweight world champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs), would love to get his fighter in the ring with WBA 'regular' champion Daniel Jacobs (31-1, 28KOs). Golovkin is the WBA's 'super champion' at the weight.

As long as Jacobs WBA regular champ no need to call for fight as it will be mandated once those phantom talks between ginger ****e and loeffler teams wrap up

I'm very disappointed with Danny's silence! He should be pursuing GGG ASAP! He's not going to make more money with anyone else...unless he can make it down to 155!

From the times he's been asked about GGG in interviews, Ive never gotten the "I want to fight Golovkin" vibe from him either. I don't think Jacobs is in a rush to get in the ring with him.

Exactly. I thought Saunders was next in line if Canelo didn't want it.

Agreed on the no need to call for it. Thankfully not everyone in boxing talks as much as Sanchez.

Jacobs is fighting in July. While GGG is fighting in Sept. No way can you be ready for a fight in less than 2 months.

Why does Sanchez always call out fighters when they're about to fight someone else??? He does that all the time and never calls anyone out when his guys is in training though? Always says will discuss that afterwards. Dude is annoying. As fk.

BJS is the opposite of Jacobs, a whole lot of barking but who knows what he's actually gonna do.

I get it. Everyone is afraid to fight Golovkin. Well, except for the ones that do but somehow doesn't make "business" sense or the the real easy foes for HBO to showcase why everyone is afraid of his power.

The pic of this article really show he is not ready for GGG, he looks like he would faint if they got in the same ring.

GGG should retire then everybody would fight everybody
