To answer your question, he doesn't have any elite wins, but he does have many elite guys who refused to fight him, most recently Canelo forfeiting his belt to avoid him. I know that's not as good as putting Canelo face down but it adds upComment

Ok, well at least that's some kind of decent argument. I don't buy the whole I'm not a 160 lb fighter, and tbh, I think Canelo would do better than most expect. He has power. He has counterpunching ability. He's a little too flat footed to say it would be a 50-50 fight, but I'd give him a decent chance. However, my biggest point is the fact that when the ability to be great isn't close, you have to chase it. Golovkin has not proven his willingness to do so.... and that is my biggest issue with him. If the 160 lb division was as stacked as some of the others, that would be completely different...but it's not stacked. 168 is better, but tbh, with Ward now at LHW, the division is much weaker and inexperienced.Last edited by Metho_4u; 06-01-2016, 12:51 AM.Comment

NO, it really doesn't !
Explain exactly how that " adds up " ??
You look up his resume, you see the names, and you ask when/how !
That, is it !!
Nothing else matters, and nothing else " adds up ".
I think I see the problem.Comment

This is similar to what you guys did with Pacquiao.
You added up a bunch of " goods ", and decided to call them " great ".
Name one Pacquiao opponent since Marquez II (other than Mayweather) who would not have lost to A NUMBER OF GUYS in his own division.
Nothing great happened during that period.
A bunch of " good " wins, does not equal " great ".Comment
