At this point I think Lara is the only decent fighter left for Triple G to fight that will actually fight him. These other Middleweights don't want it at all.

I wish they would just make this fight and Forget the diva. Lara is on record calling out GGG various times at this point so it's not like he can duck him now.
These are all guys who started at lower weights at considering younger period than this man currently is. He's 33 not 17, 18, 20, 21, as those fighters you mentioned were. Jordan was the greatest guard ever in the NBA, you wouldn't be asking him to move to Center just for a challenge. We need to stop comparing one fighter to the other, not everyone has the same ambitions or wants to write the same story line. Golovkin at this point can only move up in weight, moving down long term is not an option. He will move up when they figure the time is right. I wanted him to move up well over a year ago and then realized...I don't pay that mans bills. Should they be making better fights? Yeah, am I going to sit around complaining about it? NO.
Hopkins moved up from MW in his 30s. Floyd moved up to 154 for Cotto and 152 for Canelo in his 30s. Manny moved up late in his career, to 150 for Margarito. Cotto won a MW title in his 30s. Now if you want to say that GGG has different ambitions, that's OK! But is he too old to move up? NO! Those guys I mentioned are the standard-bearers! If you don't feel GGG belongs in that class, that's OK. However, let's not make excuses for him. He's still a fine champ like Hagler was, but I as a fan, expect more out of him than Dominic Wade, Curtis Stevens, and Willie Monroe Jr.!

Re-read my post..I clearly state the only way left for him to move is up and how he can't move down as a long term plan. Golovkin has had the American audience for four years, people need to remember that. In four years this guy has done plenty and been avoided just as much. Name one other boxer that crossed over and in four years chumped out 3 top fighters, made one vacate rather than face him, and has had every other excuse to not fight him placed on the table? No one else can say that. Nobody is making excuses, most of us are asking you folk who love to rail on him to look at the whole picture. Wade was a mandatory, he did his job in holding on to his belt. Google this site and how many people actually thought Stevens was going to test Golovkin, those same people turned around and threw shade on Golovkin for even fighting him after they had spent a month talking smack about Golovkin and how he was going to lose. Willie Monroe fought for the check and to prove he could give Golovkin hell when Cotto was being a big pansy and negotiating his terms for the WBC belt. Again, let's look at facts...ALL OF THE FACTS.

Okay, maybe I mis-understood you. It seemed like you were making the excuse that he couldn't move up due to age, which is why I pointed out that many have done so, and not just when they were 17,19, 21 etc. I due agree that his resume isn't his fault, but it is what it is...weak as ****! Hopefully he will fight Lara or Jacobs next, and then set his sights on the 168lb. division. It would've been great if Ward was still there, but hindsight is 20/20!
