Canelo is younger than him...he'd be getting better too lol. Dude's fighting and beating Miguel Cotto convincingly and Spence is killing the Algieri....


I'm gonna go with Canelo...probably for the rest of their life. Canelo is younger and vastly more talented..as is obvious. This isn't a fair comparison unless Spence blossoms into something more which he may well do someday...


But betting on the slightly older guy to become better than the already better younger guy is kind of a bad bet.

I think Spence will beat any welterweight including Mayweather. Canelo is just too big and powerful and hits too hard for Spence. I think it would be one hell of a fight and Spence would hold his own. Canelo was staggered many years ago as a teenager by Cotto's brother. Nobody has hurt Canelo since then because he can really take a punch. At some point in the fight I think Canelo will land the kind of right hand bomb that knocked Khan and Kirkland out cold. Spence will be badly hurt and Canelo will finish him off.

It's not an easy fight for canelo and especially in a years time...if you look at spence he's already cut at 147 and could easily gain 5lb or 6lb and not see any difference ...spence is no Khan....he's a big welterweight who can punch or move but he just needs another year to gain a bit more savvy and get accustomed to extra weight if he was to go up in weight ...I see Spence going along way ....I know mayweather would not want to go near him now..far too dangerous

lol, no one would even know who Spence was if Mayweather hadn't mentioned him. Spence needs to fight the Andre Bertos and Robert Guerreros before he can even be in a title fight imo. Good win over Algeri but lets be real, Algeri is a good boxer but Spence didnt have to respect anything Algeri bought to the table. At least with Berto you have a guy that can crack and Guerrero will take 2 to get 1 and keep coming. In other words Spence needs to take on a few more styles before he gets deemed "the next great." But knowing PBC, he will probably fight Lamont Peterson for the vacant WBA regular title. & to answer your question, I cant stand Canelo but Im pretty sure at this point and anytime in the near future (next 5 years) Canelo beats him.

dude spence literally fights NOTHING like Mayweather. Only thing they have in common is both are black. LMAO Mayweather is a defensive wizard and counter puncher. Spence has horrible defense and is a aggressive fighter looking to KO you not win a chess match by decision. Guys like that who fight Canelo get put to sleep. Canelo has faced the best Jr Middleweights in the world been in with much bigger and stronger ****ers and none even phased Canelo's chin. Last time he was even momentarily stunned was back when he was teenager. Spence won't be able to hurt Canelo and leaves himself way too open with his sloppy defense. Canelo will pick him off easy. In a few years maybe Spence will fix his liabilities and gain experience so the fight is competitive. But like someone else said Canelo is actually younger then Spence so he could be better as well. But right now it's a massacre Spence's style is all wrong for Canelo.
