Predict Bellew will lose his first defense or potential unification bout, I think Haye should let him alone. He called him out he addressed it, if he moves up knock him out. Until then make a few dollars beating up Briggs matter fact push that fight up and then fight Parker who just called him out who is willing to risk his IBF shot just to get his name on his resume after his next bout.

This is more like it.. get some bad blood going, domestic feuds. Would make it more interesting following Haye's comeback instead of his attempts of weaseling his way to the Joshua fight.

At what weight? Bellew is a fat cruiserweight, he'll be an ever fatter HW.

Think Eddie Hearn probably showed Bellew a list of potential CW opponents and the amount of money they'll bring... Then realised a catch weight fight could allow Bellew to make some money for getting sparked by Haye, and allow Haye to make himself a bit more relevant in time for AJ to spark him out late next year, mentioned it to "Bomber" and let his big scouse mouth do the rest... Well played Eddie, well played

Also, shrewd observation from someone else in here about Haye's GH gut. It is so obvious to the trained eye

Tony Bellew is one of the greatest overachievers in boxing.

For someone so limited in ability and so irritating and unlikable as a person he has made a small fortune on PPV fights, Hollywood Movies and is now a World Champion.

I have to begrudgingly respect what he has achieved to be honest.

He is absolutely awful to watch and even worse to listen to being interviewed.

True I still don't think he beat Masternak he is lucky that fight with the Pole was on home soil because didn't deserve the win against him.

Obviously Makabu style just complimented Bellews to an extent that and Makabu made a mistake in his approach I still think Makabu is the better fighter of the two.

Haye's "Message for Tony Bellew" was pretty cringeworthy. A cross between a childish gypsy call out video and a WWE promo. Are these guys just engaging in publicity for its own sake now because surely this isn't going anywhere?

Haye would have to lose 24lb to make the cruiserweight limit. The majority of that would be muscle. That would completely derail his plans and in the process out him as a PED user because anyone who could lose and then regain that much muscle bulk in a short space of time isn't doing it naturally.

The only way I see these two going at it is if they bump into each other in a night club.

I'm sure haye is angry, but there is no way he's fighting bellew. Too small

bellew looked pretty strong at CW. that guy is freaking tall. they list him at 6'2". remember when they used to list khan as 5'11" ? if bellew's 6'2" then khan's about 5'7". he looked about as tall as eddie hearn, who is easily 6'3", if not 6'4".

not saying that he's a HW or that he'll beat haye, but he's goign to do a heck of a lot better than poor mark de mori, who tried and failed, or that other guy, who literally took a dive. better than those figths. make it happen.

lots of people were hyping bellew's opponent. he was in an exciting fight with mchunu, but he showed a lot of flaws and relied on his opponent running out of gas completely. cool fight, though, and worth a watch for sure if you haven't seen it. tiny little ring for a cruiserweight fight. not sure if i've ever seen a ring that small in modern boxing. maybe it was just the camera work [whcih ******, lol,] but that ring looked like a closet.
