Comments Thread For: Jose Pedraza To Be Ringside For Lomachenko-Martinez Bout

IBF super featherweight world champion Jose 'Sniper' Pedraza is not exactly sure when and where his next defense of the belt will take place. However, that does not mean that the 130-pound king of the International Boxing Federation is away from the gym.

Pedraza is being seriously mishandled. Nothing definite? He should have a dance card of challengers, considering. Steven Smith might be champion had that fight been in the UK. Pedraza is getting the most out of modest abilities. He's not a KO artist or a flight risk. It's about his dedication, he makes it work.
    Too bad.

Lomachenko-Martinez isn't getting the attention it should.

This is going to be a GREAT fight.

Too bad if Martinez wins Pedraza and him are close friends and would never fight.

Thought he edged the Smith fight. He definitely should have lost to Cherry. Felt terrible for Cherry that night.

Neutral ground. In the UK Smith could avoid a fight and get points for boxing, all close rounds would be his. Pedraza would only get a point for serious domination and knock downs.

Pedraza reminds me of James DeGale, maybe not so much style wise. You can tell they're talented, but they can't seem to put everything together.
They both also get mixed up in styles. It's like they don't know their identity.

That said, I would like to see a Gary Russell/Pedraza doubleheader in July/August.
